You only need egg whites, sugar, almond extract and cream of tartar - plus a piping bag (like for icing)
Beat the egg whites, almond extract and cream of tartar until frothy. Add sugar a little at a time until stiff peaks form.
Place in a piping bag and make 2" swirls on a baking sheet.
Bake 225F for 60 minutes. Turn off oven and let meringues sit inside for a few hours.
