Wrap the handle in foil so it doesn't burn

Heat on high heat until it darkens

It will start turning blue

Wait until it's all blue

Wash it with water and a scrub pad after it's cooled for 1-3 minutes.

Wipe oil all over the wok and heat again until smoking.

Rinse again and dry over medium heat. Cover with a very light layer of oil to store.
