Equipment

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces halloumi
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 lime

Instructions

  • Use a sharp knife to carefully slice the halloumi in ¼" slices.
  • Lightly spray the inside of the air fryer basket with oil.
  • Place the halloumi slices in the air fryer in a single layer.
  • Cook at 390F degrees for 7-8 minutes, until golden brown. **Start checking at 5-6 minutes to ensure the cheese is not overcooking.
  • Remove, place on a plate and drizzle with honey and fresh squeezed lime juice. Serve.

Notes

  1. If you'd like to make the Halloumi into fries, you can just cut the cheese into smaller strips! This works well if you're feeding kids this recipe.
  2. Feel free to change up the seasoning if you'd like. You can add anything from smoked paprika to more salt and pepper. Be as creative as you'd like with this!
  3. This Air Fryer Halloumi goes really well on top of salads! If you're making a salad any time soon, feel free to pair it with this cheese option.
  4. The awesome thing about Halloumi when it's air fried is that it makes an excellent dipper! Ranch or Tahini sauce goes GREAT with this cheese when air fried.
