Grilled Squash Recipe

Slices of fresh summer squash drizzle in olive oil, sea salt and fresh cracked black pepper is the perfect side dish for that summer BBQ.

  • Start by washing the squash and cutting the ends off. Slice the squash lengthwise in ¼" slices and lay the slices on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper.
  • Grill squash 2-3 minutes on each side at about 400 degrees.

Notes

Expert Tips:

  1. Brush the grill with oil to prevent the squash from sticking
  2. The squash should have nice grill marks on both sides when done - make sure your grill is hot enough. 
  3. Zucchini can be substituted for squash if desired.
