How to Make Beef Broth in the Slow Cooker

  • Roast beef bones at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, 15 minutes per side.
  • Add all ingredients to crock pot and fill with water, leaving about an inch at the top.
  • Cook on high for 12 hours and low for 12 hours.
  • Turn heat off and strain.
  • Store broth in the fridge for up to 5 days, or the freezer for up to 6 months.
  • Place all ingredients back in the slow cooker, fill with water and repeat the last 3 steps.
