How to Make Beef Broth in the Slow Cooker

- 2 lbs. beef bones
- 1 onion quartered
- 2 carrots chopped
- 4 cloves garlic smashed
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp. black peppercorns
- 1 sprig thyme
- 1 tbsp. sea salt
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
Roast beef bones at 400 degrees for 30 minutes, 15 minutes per side.
Add all ingredients to crock pot and fill with water, leaving about an inch at the top.
Cook on high for 12 hours and low for 12 hours.
Turn heat off and strain.
Store broth in the fridge for up to 5 days, or the freezer for up to 6 months.
Place all ingredients back in the slow cooker, fill with water and repeat the last 3 steps.
