These grilled fruit skewers are made with juicy pieces of fresh fruit, skewered, lightly grilled and served with an absolutely amazing chili lime vinaigrette that you MUST try! It’s easy to make, and a total crowd pleaser!
Super simple. Super refreshing. Absolutely delicious.

And the chili lime vinaigrette just takes it over the top.

And don’t worry, any kind of fruit works here! I used my favorites for the recipe, but you could use anything. Some of my favorite options:
For this recipe, you’re going to want about 5 cups of fruit. However, you can double, triple, quadruple the recipe if you want!
Just make sure you’re fruit is cut in large enough chunks to be skewered, but not so large they don’t cook. I keep the pieces between 1-2″.
I also like to brush the fruit with a flavored olive oil – the one I’m using right now is blood orange, but I’ve used a lovely lemon one in the past as well. While they can be a little pricey, I love to use flavor infused olive oils. However, regular olive oil is just fine if you’re not spoiled like me.

Let’s Make Some Grilled Fruit!
To grill, heat the grill to 400 degrees and get all your fruit skewered.
Brush with olive oil and grill for about 10 minutes, flipping every few minutes to ensure the fruit doesn’t burn.
In the meantime, combine the vinaigrette ingredients in a bowl and mix well to combine (you can do this step the day before if you’re trying to save time).
Remove the grilled fruit skewers from the grill, drizzle with the chili lime vinaigrette, and serve.
You can also remove all the fruit from the skewers and place in a bowl to make a fruit salad. Just drizzle the vinaigrette over the fruit after placing it in the bowl.
Now you have the perfect summer treat!
If you want to make this a dessert, it would be amazing over some light tropical flavored ice cream, sherbert or gelato.
OR…gasp….served with my amazing homemade lemon curd.

These Grilled Fruit Kebabs are made with fresh chunks of your favorite fruit, skewered and grilled to get a light char and smoky flavor, then served with a tangy chili lime vinaigrette.
Heat the grill to 400 degrees and make the fruit skewers.
Brush the skewers and the grill with olive oil and place them on the grill for 10 minutes, flipping once.
- Remove from grill and drizzle with chili lime vinaigrette. Serve on the skewers or remove and place in a bowl.
Mix all ingredients together until well combined. Can be made ahead - will keep in the fridge for several weeks.
- Any fruit that can be skewered will work for this recipe. I lean towards tropical fruit as I personally enjoy the flavor more. You will need a total of 5 cups.
- Fruit should be cut in large enough pieces that it can be easily skewered; about 1-2" minimum.
- Brush the fruit skewers and the grill with olive oil to prevent the kebabs from sticking.
- Serve the grilled fruit over gelato or frozen yogurt for a summery treat.
- Serve with fresh homemade lemon curd for something extra special.
